How it started

Back in 2008, my husband, Patrick, and I ventured to Uganda. I wanted to see where he grew up – the people and culture that shaped him. He wanted the same. We returned home from that month-long trip saying we’d do more. Someday we’d build a school to help break the cycle of poverty and give Ugandan children a safe place to prepare for a brighter future. Together, we made this dream a reality. We built for Bridget and all of the children who deserve the opportunity to dream big. But we’re not done yet…

Help us serve the more than 250+ students who attend Kunihira Primary School and Kindergarten by making a donation today. Your dollars go directly to improving the school experience by: filling our library to support our young learners; building a playground to encourage and celebrate creative play; introducing technology in our media center; building a school garden to teach agriculture while supporting our food program; and so much more. TOGETHER we can make Kunihira a magical place for young minds. Thank you for being a part of it!

Building for Bridget is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization that operates out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. All donations are tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Thank you for you support.
