Donate uniforms to kids in need

We all want to make a difference in the lives of those who aren’t as fortunate as ourselves, but so often we don’t know how. Well today’s your lucky day! For only $25, you can purchase a school uniform (shorts/skirt, shirt & sweater) for a child at Kunihira. And this REALLY matters! Here’s why…

Did you know that most Ugandans live on less than $2.00 a day, and school uniforms are required (per the government) to attend school? If you’re wondering if some families don’t send their children to school because they can’t afford this added expense, you’re right. This isn’t OK! EVERY child deserves access to education. And you can help them get it!

For only $25.00, you can give a student a uniform. But here’s the really fun part…when the child picks up their uniform, they’ll also receive a card that shares who bought it for them. That can be you, your child, your best friend, etc. Want a little message added to the card for that student? We’ll do that for you too! Just let us know what to write when you donate. (P.S. This makes an awesome, meaningful gift!)

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for helping us show these children that they matter — that their dreams ARE possible.

With deep gratitude,  Patrick, Bright and Jeni Asaba

Ready to help?

Great! Here's how:
1. Click the yellow button below.
2. Decide how many uniforms you want to donate. ($25 gets a student shorts/skirt, shirt & sweater)
3. Let us know what to write on the donation card shown on the right. (The student will receive one card per uniform when they pick them up.)
4. Feel REALLY good about showing a Ugandan child they matter!

Your donation makes a HUGE difference.

The below uniforms are examples of what each child will receive (a shirt, sweater, and shorts/skirt). But…our school colors will be a bit more fun. 😉 As an added bonus, by donating a uniform to a child in need, you’re also giving work to local seamstresses. We call that a win-win!!!
